Best new year’s ever

Eva and I are generally not very exciting. Our new year’s eve usually consists of watching tv, typically the pilot episode of Futurama. But this year Eva scored us tickets to the Mighty Mighty Bosstones Hometown Throwdown 11 at Lupo’s.  As a bonus, one of the openers was The Agents, although Dawn wasn’t there. The one down side to the show was that we are at an awkward age where we’re too old to be there by ourselves but too young to have brought kids.

On a less happy note, the concert was followed by both of us being sick over the weekend, and me taking tuesday and wednesday as sick days from work.

So awesome! Did you know the Agents were opening ahead of time? I miss Lupo’s.

I had no clue the Agents were opening. This short, wiry, bald guy in a suit came out on the stage after the first band, and I turned to Mike and said, ‘That guy looks like Jay Dalomba.” We spent the next ten minutes of the band setting up trying to figure out if it was him. Then it was!
